UOS signs MoU with South China University to enhance academic cooperation

A six member delegation from South China Agricultural University, China headed by Prof Xiaoyang CHEN visited University of Sargodha to explore possibilities to exchange knowledge and establish a mutual working relationship between the two institutions.The delegation comprised Xiaoyang CHEN, President South China Agricultural University, Xiongwu SU, Director Human Resource Department SCAU, Yongliang ZHANG, Director, Academic Affairs Office SCAU, Xinxiang PENG, Executive Vice Dean, Graduate School, SCAU and Chuxiong ZHUANG, Director Development & Planning Department SCAU.

The delegation met Dr Ishtiaq Ahmed, Vice Chancellor University of Sargodha and deans of various faculties and discussed the areas of mutual interest in various disciplines to collaborate in future.Recognizing the mutual benefits to be gained through a cooperative program promoting scholarly activities and international understanding, University of Sargodha and South China Agricultural University signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU).The MoU was signed by Dr Ishtiaq Ahmed, Vice Chancellor University of Sargodha and Xiaoyang CHEN, President South China Agricultural University.

According to the MoU, both parties will actively explore the establishment of a joint agricultural research institute between them when both think the right time comes based on the positive outcome.
