WEBINAR ON Innovative Research and Patenting

In the current era of knowledge-based economy, innovative research is a key factor
towards commercialization of ideas and product development. In this context, world is
trying to accelerate the transformation of inventions into industrial processes and
products. Identifying and creating Intellectual Property (IP) and bringing research
results to the next stage of development have become institutional objectives in world
leading universities and research organizations across the globe. Meanwhile, without
active collaboration and input of different stakeholders such as academia, industry and
government, it is rather difficult to accomplish innovative research and
commercialization activities addressing the needs of the society.
This webinar is aimed to impart an understanding about development and designing of
innovative research proposals leading to commercialization of ideas through patenting
and entrepreneurship. The webinar will also provide an opportunity to bring different
stakeholders under one umbrella for knowledge sharing, building professional
